Inspired by both architecture and fashion, Bart Halpern’s collections are all about colour, texture, movement and various densities of transparency. Whether the textiles are plain, with their subtle hues of iridescence, or pleated for additional depth and texture, they are both sophisticated and versatile. The collections include entrancing sheers, voluptuous velvets, fine faux suedes, alpaca and silks, as well as shimmering microfibres.
The plain fabrics can also be permanently pleated in various designs to provide an enchanting array of finishes. With the addition of paper and cotton knit backing, the potential uses are boundless.
